VOTE NO on September 19, 2017.

Against the Will of the Voters

Last fall, a majority of Milford residents voted in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana. Now, a small group is trying to overturn the will of the voters with a ballot question that goes way beyond banning marijuana retail shops.

Flawed Process

Originally, the ballot would have banned retail shops in town. But now they have convinced the town to expand the referendum to ban all licensed establishments, including manufacturers and testing facilities already up and running in Milford. This goes too far and is bad for Milford.

Jobs and Revenue at Risk

If the ballot referendum passes, licensed business already operating in Milford will go out of business. A “NO” vote would ensure the town does not lose out on hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue and up to 300 local jobs.
